The Cohort 3 awareness campaign, spanning 23 leading institutions and amplified through a nationwide social media marketing, successfully concluded in January 2025. The campaign drew an overwhelming response, with more than 550 applications submitted by students from schools across Pakistan.

This enthusiastic participation reflects the growing impact of our program and the strong interest among young innovators nationwide.

Over two days, we conducted seven Launchpads, where startups were evaluated by industry expert judges. Each pitch was assessed across key criteria, including problem identification, solution, market potential, business model, communication, and social impact​

Through a competitive evaluation process, 71 startups were shortlisted, of which 20 startup from across Pakistan were successfully incubated.

Registration was open for two weeks before , and we received participation from a diverse audience across Pakistan, including students from various schools nationwide​

Maryam Saleem, from SparkTank Cohort 1 has been selected as the Youth Global Network (YGN) Ambassador from Pakistan!YGN is a prestigious global hub for youth and an official member of SDSN Youth, a programme of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network.!

 

SparkTank is excited to announce its participation in the Karachi Edition of ITCN Asia, taking place from September 23–25, 2025, at the Karachi Expo Centre.​

We hosted SparkTalk sessions, featuring distinguished experts who provided valuable guidance to our startups. For this edition, we opened registrations to the public, allowing anyone to attend virtually..​

we had the privilege of hosting Ayaan Waqar, Co-founder of Pak Maweshi, as part of our SparkTalk series. Ayaan has also been actively supporting Sparktank startups, sharing his experience and guidance with young founders.

Pak Maweshi is an innovative Urdu-based, pictorial tech platform that connects livestock owners with buyers and dairy companies across Pakistan. Ayaan is a proud graduate of Sparktank Cohort 1 and the recipient of the Young Founder Award at the NSIT City Innovation Awards 2024, where his startup received a cash prize of Rs. 500,000 from the Chief Minister of Punjab.

In this SparkTalk, Ayaan shared his journey from launching a student-led startup to scaling a nationally recognized agri-tech platform. His story provided valuable insights into building with purpose, overcoming early-stage challenges, and leading as a young founder.
